Early March real estate busy in Coquitlam for houses

A spring rebound? The first week of March was a busy one for Coquitlam real estate, with buyers snapping up five single-family in less than five days.

Coquitlam real estate sales improved slightly in February and March may be continuing the trend.

Over the past two weeks, 29 single-family homes — ranging in price from $1.16 million to $2.58 million — were reported sold on Zealty.ca.

And five of them sold in less than five days in the first week of March.

It’s important to wait for monthly reports from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, speak directly with a real estate expert and to pay attention to Bank of Canada interest rates to get the full picture.

But early March shows signs of a slight rebound, judging by a quick turnover of several homes.

Ranging in age from three years to 74 years old, the homes listed here represent a variety of sizes and styles but all have yards, some of which are substantial in size.

Price points range from $1.255 million for a home in Coquitlam’s Cape Horn neighbourhood to $2.55 million for an executive home in Maillardville in southwestern Coquitlam.
